Thesis Workshops
What are "thesis writing workshops"? Thesis writing workshops, hosted by the CSUSM Writing Center, are an opportunity for you to accomplish work on your thesis in a supportive, distraction-free environment.

What time are the workshops? Each workshop falls on a weekend. We work Saturday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Sunday,
12 - 5 p.m.
Who can attend? Any continuing graduate student working on a thesis, special project, or dissertation is welcome to sign up for the retreat. You can be at any stage of the thesis writing process, including preparing your proposal.
How many spaces are available? Attendance is limited to 15 participants per day. There are ten computer cubicle workstations available and table space for three to five laptops.
The CSUSM Writing Center will be providing support and materials to all workshop attendees, including:
- A quiet, comfortable space to write in for five hours
- Knowledgeable writing consultants to offer assistance throughout the day
- Office supplies & Internet access
- Free snacks and caffeine!
Cost: FREE
Registration: NOT required. Just show up!
