Important Dates & Deadlines

Spring Admission

August 1 - October 15, 2024 - Extended Deadline - Application Filing Period. (Please note: Second bachelor’s programs closed on September 30). 

October 1 -The financial aid applications open. FAFSA for US Citizens and eligible non citizens, CADA for AB540 eligible students, and all students are encouraged to complete the CSUSM Scholarship Application.

October 15 - Initial official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance). Check your 'to do' list in MyCSUSM. 

Mid-November - Admission Notifications Begin (will continue on a rolling basis, check your MyCSUSM and email)

December 1 - Intent to Enroll Deadline 

January 15 - Final official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)

 

Fall Admission

October 1 - December 15, 2024 - Application Filing Period (Please note: Nursing program closed on November 30)

February 15 - Initial document deadline - submit all official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)

July 15 - Final official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)

*CSUSM does not defer admissions and does not allow for a leave of absence during the first semester. If you are unable to attend CSUSM for the term that you applied to, then you would need to reapply for a future term that you would be able to attend.
