Important Dates & Deadlines

Spring Admission

August 1 - September 30, 2023 - Application Filing Period 

October 1 -The financial aid applications open. FAFSA for US Citizens and eligible non citizens, CADA for AB540 eligible students, and all students are encouraged to complete the CSUSM Scholarship Application.

October 15 - Initial official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance). Check your 'to do' list in MyCSUSM. 

Mid-November - Admission Notifications Begin (will continue on a rolling basis, check your MyCSUSM and email)

December 1 - Intent to Enroll Deadline 

January 15 - Final official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)

 

Fall Admission

October 1 - April 26, 2024 - Application Filing Period (Please note: Nursing program closed on November 30. Biological Sciences (all options) and Second Bachelor programs closed on December 15).

Document deadlines vary depending on your application date; please review your Student Center in MyCSUSM for your specific deadline 

• February 15: Initial document deadline - submit all official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)- Students who applied by December 31
• March 15: Initial document deadline - submit all official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance) transcripts- Students who applied in January
• April 30: Initial document deadline - submit all official official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)- Students who applied after February

May 15 - Intent to Enroll Deadline 

July 15 - Final official documents (transcripts, test scores, letters of non-attendance)
