Transfer Important Deadlines

Spring Term Admission:

  • August 1 - September 30: Apply to CSUSM at Cal State Apply 
  • October 1 - March 2: File your FAFSA 
  • October 15: Initial document deadline - submit all official transcripts
  • December 1: Deadline to submit your Intent to Enroll and non-refundable $150 deposit
  • January 15: Deadline for receipt of final transcripts with summer grades. NOTE: This is not a postmarked deadline. Documents must be received on, or before, this deadline.

Fall Term Admission:

  • October 1 - December 15: Apply to CSUSM at Cal State Apply (up-to-date application deadlines, including extensions, are posted to our How to Apply page).
  • October 1 - March 2: File your FAFSA 
  • February 15: Initial document deadline - submit all official transcripts, including those with fall grades, if applicable
  • May 1: Deadline to submit your Intent to Enroll and non-refundable $150 deposit
  • July 15: Deadline for receipt of final transcripts with spring grades.  NOTE: This is not a postmarked deadline. Documents must be received on, or before, this deadline.
