Get Involved!

ASI believes in the transformative power of student involvement.  By providing an array of opportunities for students to enhance their leadership skills through employment and volunteerism, build community with their fellow Cougars, increase their knowledge of diversity and social justice, and be recognized for their service to the university and the CSU system, ASI aims to help students succeed in college and prepare them for the future.    We invite you to learn more about ASI and discover how you, too, are part of ASI.

Here are some ways to consider getting involved in ASI:
  • Participate in an event or program that sparks your interest hosted by Campus Activities Board (CAB).  View our Programs and Events.
  • Attend a Student Advocacy Committee meeting to speak about an issue impacting students.   View our Meeting Schedule.
  • Participate in the Board of Directors (BOD) elections each spring by voting, or consider running for one of 15 elected positions on the Board. View the Election Information.
  • Spend time making friends and building community in the ASI Community Centers (Gender Equity Center & LGBTQA Pride Center).
  • Consider working for ASI as part of Reception, Design Team, CAB, or the ASI Community Centers.
