My role at Cal State San Marcos

As a Marketing Student Assistant at the Career Center, I not only work behind the scenes crafting our social media messages but I also outreach face-to-face with students out on campus. It’s great meeting fellow Cougars
and introducing them to the Career Center.

My career path

I graduated in 2016 from Mission Hills High School right here in San Marcos. I currently am working towards my Bachelors in Communication, my career pathway isn’t solidified but if I could talk for the rest of my life I would be the
happiest person alive!

The rewards in doing what I do

I love introducing students to new resources and opportunities our center provides! It’s great to help my fellow peers in their higher education journey.

My words of wisdom to students

It’s OKAY to fail, it’s not okay to quit ! There will always be times where things don’t go our way or we stumble, that’s okay! As long as we get back up and keep trying we are bound to succeed.

In my free time

I really enjoy brush lettering - I’ve probably spent too much money on pens over the years! I also love to bike and hike, even if it kills me every single time!
