Sandra Gonzalez Bio

My role at Cal State San Marcos:

I am the student ambassador and intern at the Office of Internships. 

My Career Path:

I love working in higher education so once Igraduate I hope to find another job on campus or at a local community college. Once I finish graduate school, I plan to become an academic advisor for higher education. 

The rewards in doing what I do:

The biggest reward of this job is being able to help students. As a transfer student, it was difficult to familiarize myself with all the resources offered by CSUSM so I enjoy being able to help students in any way possible. 

My words of wisdom:

The words of wisdom I live by are “if it was easy, everyone would do it” and this has motivated me to continue to work hard every day. 

In my free time:

I love to paddleboard and sew!
