CoBA Community Highlights

Stephanie Collins

Looking to get the scoop on the success that was the Female Entrepreneur vent, CoBA caught up with business student and VP of the Entrepreneur Society, Stephanie Collins. The key note speaker of the event, female entrepreneur Emilie Hersh, started out by motivating the audience (of both men and women) to jumpstart the next step of their journey outside of college and into the real world of business. After receiving a how-to on preparing for graduation, a panel of four entrepreneurial women in different stages of their businesses discussed their personal experiences and expertise. Ending in success for the fifth year now, the Female Entrepreneur Event was spearheaded by Stephanie Collins, who is pursuing her business degree with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Stephanie is a part of the Professional Mentor Program at CoBA. Emilie Hersh, also her mentor, challenges and guides Stephanie in all elements related to her future goals in the business world. When she isn't planning events or participating in various organizations, Stephanie enjoys hiking and participating in triathlons. When asked why she chose to enroll in CSUSM, she said the size of the school along with the welcoming atmosphere is what drew her to enroll. CoBA is delighted to see where Stephanie's knowledge and perseverance take her as she transitions to the next stage in her career.
