Please note that GradFest 2021 as well as Hair and Make-up Appointments will be dependent on current COVID-19 health orders put forth by local government and the University. Any news regarding GradFest 2021 as well as Hair and Make-up appointments will be communicated via your CSUSM email and posted to the Commencement website.

Professional makeup artist MakeupbyRiva will be bringing her team of professional hair and makeup artists to provide services to you prior to taking your graduate portrait at GradFest!

GradFest Appointments

Hair

Price: $35 cash only please

Your 30 minute hair appointment includes: a simple style, curl, blow dry or flat iron.

Make-up

Price: $40 cash only please

Your 30 minute appointment includes: foundation/powder, blush, liner, lip color, light eye shadow, and false eye lashes.

Please note, hair and make-up appointments are TWO SEPERATE SERVICES that require TWO SEPERATE APPOINTMENT TIMES. 

Ex: Hair at 10am, Make-up at 10:30am.  Please do not schedule both for the same start time.

Important

  1. If you have any questions regarding these services, please contact Riva via email or (619) 729-3309.
  2. Please be prompt for your scheduled time.  Arrive early.
  3. If you would like to schedule a hair and makeup appoinment, reservations are required for both.  Select both options to schedule your appointments, keep timing in mind. Hair and Make-up are two different services.
  4. PAYMENT INFORMATION: Cash only to be paid on-site. There is an ATM on the 4th floor of the University Student Union (USU) if you do not have cash.
