We Have Tentative Agreement!
BIG NEWS! CSUEU Bargaining Team reached a Tentative Agreement on Wednesday (Oct. 11) with CSU management, which, if approved by the CSUEU membership, would be historic for delivering a transformed and more equitable salary steps structure for CSU Support Staff. The Bargaining Team unanimously recommends a YES vote on the Tentative Agreement.
The agreement would extend the current contract through 2026. Units 2, 5, 7 and 9 staff will get a 5% general salary increase (GSI) effective July 1, 2023 with full retroactive pay. They will get another 5% raise effective July 1 of 2024, less than 10 months from now. We will then transition to steps on Oct.1, 2025.
This win is 30 years in the making – and WE made it happen through our unwavering commitment and pressure on CSU leadership throughout the bargaining process.
