Open University Certificates

Open University certificate programs enable individuals to earn a University certificate by completing a prescribed course of study via the regular Open University program.  These certificates carry resident credit and classes taken may be transferred to other universities and colleges.

Enrollment Process:

STEP 1. Complete the Online Enrollment (Quick Admit) Form.  Be sure to selected the appropriate open university certificate in the dropdown.

Please make sure to submit this form at least 2 weeks prior to the semester start date to allow for timely processing of your information. Within 24-48 hours of your Quick Admit form being received, you will be e-mailed your student ID number and information on how to access your student portal.

STEP 2.  2 week before the start of the semester you will be sent a registration email with your student course options and payment request information.

*Per CSU policy, Open University students cannot be registered in classes until the first day of school.

Please note: The administration of Open University certificate programs is contingent upon having the appropriate number of qualified candidates.  In the event the number of minimum qualified candidates is not satisfied, the program/classes may be delayed or cancelled prior to the program’s stated start date.  Accepted applicants will be notified in writing if the program is cancelled or delayed.  We encourage you to visit our website frequently for the most up-to-date information.
