Spring 2022 Classes Meeting In Person during the first 2 weeks (Jan 24 - Feb 4)

As detailed in prior campus updates (link), in an effort to slow the spread of the Omicron variant and help protect the health of our communities, classes will be held virtually for the first two weeks of the semester (Monday, January 24 through Saturday, February 5). Experts who are tracking the spread of Omicron have expressed confidence that the apex of the spread will occur within the first three to four weeks of January. We are continuing to monitor conditions and data and will provide updates as needed. Our normal in-person classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, February 7.

The following classes have been approved for in-person instruction from the start of the semester, though they may not be meeting every class day in person or in the typical location. Students enrolled in any classes listed below should monitor their CSUSM email and Cougar Courses for messages from their professors. Instructors of these classes may be able to provide virtual options for any students who requests to learn virtually for the first two weeks of the spring 2022 semester; please contact your instructor to discuss options.
