Independent Study, Service Learning & Internships

Many students are enrolled in courses that involve an individualized plan or agreement for completing the coursework, such as independent research. 

Although there are no policy changes with these types of courses, instructors have been asked tocommunicate with you and work out any changes made necessary by current conditions: 

• Independent Study: please check with the faculty member leading your Independent Study for any changes to your agreement. 
• Service Learning: face-to-face activities have ceased and have transitioned to virtual formats or alternate assignments.  Please check with the instructor of any Service Learning course for details on your specific course. 
• Internships: face-to-face activities have also ceased for internships.  Please check with your faculty, your internship site, and the Office of Internships for changes.
