Spring 2017 Payment Deadlines

Registration Due Date
For classes reserved prior to December 12, 2016 December 12, 2016
For classes reserved on or after December 12, 2016 Within three (3) days of registration

Payments must be received no later than 4:30pm if paying in-person at the Cashier’s office, or 11:30pm if paying online.

If all mandatory campus fees and tuition are not paid in full by the due date, you risk having all of your classes dropped (unless you have a fee deferment).

If after making the full payment, additional registration occurs that increases your fees (changing from part-time tuition rate to full-time tuition rate for example), the additional fees will be due according to the same due dates listed above.

Only students who drop all of their classes prior to the first day of the term, will be guaranteed non-enrollment. In order to avoid a debt to the university, students must drop all courses prior to the first day of the term (January 23, 2017).

Please Note: The fee structure and drop/refund policies associated with Extended Learning (EL) may have a different fee structure and drop/refund policy.

Please note that while Student Financial Services will send communications that include due-date reminders, it is the sole responsibility of each student to pay all fees by the stated deadlines listed above.

*User fees are subject to change pending approval in accordance with University procedures.

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory system wide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory system wide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028-66028.6 of the Education Code.)
