
FACES will provide tenure track and lecturer faculty support in times of national/regional/campus crisis as well as a resource to support individual faculty with concerns such as stress, mental health, financial burdens, etc.
FACES will provide resources to address ongoing concern for departmental and the CSUSM organizational climate in respect to peer incivility, faculty morale, and Faculty-to-Faculty Bullying. FACES will provide services to build community amongst faculty through workshops, and other events, on topics that center around faculty care and engagement. These exercises aim to promote cohesion, cooperation and trust through group participation in challenging tasks and/or problem situations
FACES will offer a variety of training topics that include stress management and self-care, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication and relationships, as well as awareness/skills building regarding student and faculty trauma.
