The Department of Sociology at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers for courses in Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies. Minimum Qualifications: 

  • A master's degree or terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • A Ph.D. in a closely related field.
  • Experience teaching Sociology and/or Criminology & Justice Studies.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
