CSUSM Spring Scholarships

Scholarships selected in the Spring semester

CSUSM Avid Scholarship ~ Scholarships are awarded to students who were enrolled in a high school AVID program, has high financial need, and has overcome obstacles.

John Durkee Scholarship For Disabled Students ~ Scholarships are awarded to students who must be enrolled in at least 3 units and have a documented disability.

Leonard and Jean Evers Memorial Computer Scholarship ~ For entering freshmen and transfer students with high financial need and have overcome obstacles.

Fenstermaker Foundation Scholarship ~ For students who will major in biology, chemistry, or computer science.

The Robert H. and Catherine H. Goldsmith Scholarship ~ Awards are based on financial need, academic merit, and potential of the student to be a contributing professional likely to bring credit to Cal State San Marcos.

Madison Dexter Howe Scholarship ~ This endowed scholarship honors the life of Madison Dexter Howe, a senior CSUSM student majoring in both Political Science and Economics when he passed away in 2012.  This scholarship supports Political Science and/or Economics majors with senior class-standing, a minimum 3.0 GPA, have a declared minor or are a double major (any subject), and who embody Madison’s passion for education, civility, perseverance, and achievement.

Anne Kay Scholarship ~ Awards are made to students that have transferred directly from a community college and are enrolled for the first time at CSUSM.

Carolyn R. Mahoney Scholarship ~ Awards are made to students who are majoring in mathematics and who are enrolled at least full-time.

Louis V. Messner Memorial Scholarship in Accounting ~ Awards are made to students who are currently in junior standing and majoring in accounting. Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.

Science/University Ball Scholarship ~ Scholarships are available to students who are majoring in any Science discipline.  Financial need is a requirement, as determined by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.

Student Philanthropy Fund ~ Scholarships are awarded to student with minimum 3.00 GPA.  Available to all undergraduate students with financial need and enrolled full-time.
