As CEO of Heidrick & Struggles, one of the world's premier executive search firms, Ron redefined the search industry and set the standards of practice on a global basis. His contributions to professionalism, integrity, and quality in the professional services industry are manifold and, in many cases, are still considered to be the gold standard. Ron's experience spans a number of leadership positions at the operating level, including one in which he was confirmed by the United States Senate as a Presidential Appointee under President Gerald Ford. In this position Ron was responsible for the Federal Volunteer Agency, which included the Peace Corps, among others, and 250,000 volunteers and 2,000 employees worldwide. Ron also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Jenny Craig International, during the time that organization went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Today he is a member of the Advisory Board for the College of Business at California State University, San Marcos and a board member and faculty member of the Prague Leadership Institute in the Czech Republic. Ron holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Public and Business Administration and is a competitive-class triathlete.
