Monthly General Information Sessions for CSUSM Students and Alumni

This virtual session is for open for CSUSM students (current and alumni) who are thinking about applying for grad school and would like to know the application timeline, the expected requirements, what to expect when applying, and more. Available starting November 2020.

CSU Scholarship Programs


There are no information sessions for the 2020-2021 academic year. To apply for the California Pre-Doctoral Program (Pre-Doc or Sally Casanova Program) or the Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP), you must meet with the Campus Coordinator, Sara Constantinescu, prior to applying. Please email to schedule a meeting. Failure to meet with the Campus Coordinator may result in your application withdrawal.  

California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education (Virtual)

3 days of virtual workshops offered from 9:00am-6:00pm*

The Forum is a weeklong event designed to acquaint students from underrepresented groups with the academic and career opportunities associated with advanced study in a wide range of disciplines.

Open to:   Sophomores | Juniors | Seniors | Master’s Candidates

Looking for Student Research Events? 

Information on OGSR-sponsored (or co-sponsored) events can be found in our Student Research section.
