Toolkits for Media Projects

One element of Media Literacy is digital literacy, which includes the ability to:

  • Make informed decisions about the validity of information we encounter online.
  • Recognize how networked technology affects our behavior and our perceptions.
  • Create and effectively communicate with digital media tools.

This last element takes a technical fluency that is impractical for most  faculty to acquire.  These toolkits are intended to  provide faculty with a framework for creating and assessing different digital projects and assignments. They also aim to give students the guidance, tools, and resources they need to demonstrate their knowledge and creativity while developing digital media skills valued by employers.
