Wireless Network Upgrades Across Campus: Dec. 19 - End of Winter Break

WHAT: IITS will be upgrading the wireless network across campus.

WHY: The new wireless system will offer faster speeds, better performance, greater stability, and will support the latest wireless standard.

WHEN: The wireless system upgrade will take place starting on Thursday, December 19th and will
continue throughout the winter break.

POSSIBLE IMPACT: If any, disruptions should be minimal.

  • Apple TVs, Lab check-in stations, and other similar devices might encounter network issues.
  • Laptops, Phones, Tablets, and other similar devices might disconnect briefly and might need to reconnect to the wireless network.
