In a regular Zoom meeting, people can unmute themselves and simply ask a question. Attendees in webinars can't do that. Instead there is a Q&A interface to allow typed questions from the audience. It is usually recommended that a person that is not presenting monitor this stream of questions and relay them to the speaker or panel.
Checkout equipment is available that will allow you to record class sessions. It is available at the Help Desk on the second floor of the Kellogg Library, and consists of a webcam on a stand with a tabletop mic to pickup room audio.
