Brief description of role/ job duties: At Illumina I help build business understanding and assist with sales forecasting and budgets, quota setting, sales process optimization and pipeline health. I provide general sales administration and support for Illumina sales representatives and sales leadership with reporting and other sales tools. Our group also works to help define optimal performance measurements and build reporting to track these priorities.
Favorite thing about your job: Working with all of my colleagues at Illumina. The people make this company so great!
Favorite thing about the MKTG department from your CoBA memories: I really enjoyed the senior experience program at CSUSM because it allowed me to apply the knowledge I gained throughout my college experience into real life business applications. I also really appreciated all the speakers that we were introduced to as it created network opportunities and insight into other businesses.
Favorite MKTG class: Sports Marketing provided such a deep understanding of key marketing objectives and strategies within the sports industry, very interesting class!
