MBA Workshop: Cross-Cultural Negotiations

This workshop utilizes skill-building exercises and assessment tools to help students learn how to improve their negotiating and conflict management skills. The intent is to help students learn to achieve win-win solutions to individual, team, and organizational problems. Topics to be addressed include: distributive and integrative bargaining, power and influence, communication and persuasion, cultural dimensions, breakdowns and difficult negotiations, mediating conflicts, and international negotiations. The workshop will include self-assessment/self-awareness, distributive vs. integrative bargaining, strategies and tactics for resolving conflict, cultural dimensions, building and repairing broken trust, and negotiation exercises (spread throughout the workshop).
