New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) is here to support new students and their families in a successful transition to university life at CSUSM, from admission through the first year. We aim to create a welcoming environment for new students and families, instill a sense of pride in campus spirit and traditions, and connect students and families to services and resources available on campus.

Fall 2026 Admission

• October 1, 2025: Applications open
• 2025-2026 FAFSA and CADAA available in December 2025
• December 15, 2025: Priority Application Deadline 
• February 15, 2026: Initial Transcript & Test Scores Deadline
• Late March 2026: Orientation Reservations Open
• May 1, 2026: Intent to Enroll Deadline
• June 1, 2026: Orientation Reservations Close; If you haven't signed-up please contact New Student & Family Programs (760) 750-4930 or orientation@csusm.edu
• July 15, 2026: Final Transcript Deadline
