Nursing

The Traditional BSN Program is highly impacted. Beginning Fall 2017, students will be admitted directly into the Traditional BSN as either a Freshman or a Transfer student.


The Best Three Pathways to a BSN Degree at CSU San Marcos:

Traditional BSN Accelerated BSN RN to BSN or
RN to MSN
  • Highly Impacted Program
  • Admits 40-44 students per year
  • Competitive Program
  • San Marcos and Temecula Cohorts
  • Admitted 150 students in past year
  • Need degree in another discipline;
    have alternative major in mind while
    pursuing Pre-Nursing coursework.
  • Currently not impacted
  • 2.0 GPA in Core and Overall
  • Must have have a CA RN license and have completed an Associates Degree in Nursing
  • RN coursework must be completed at a
    WASC-accredited (or other regional affiliate) college or university
