CSUSM Democratic Engagement Action Plan

Voter education and engagement are central to a democratically engaged campus. As such, CSUSM has joined over 300 institutions of higher education in the national ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, a call to increase voter engagement across campus. The National Institute for Civic Discourse launched Text, Talk, Vote for the 2016 elections, which used text messaging to facilitate a conversation on the importance of voting and civic engagement. Data provided by participants was presented to candidates for their consideration.
