    My biggest advice to new students would be to stay organized and create a set schedule. It's often hard to balance school and social life in college and having a schedule helps a lot.

    I lately have been really enjoying hanging out in Tukwut Courtyard. In between classes, I like to go there and sit down by the shade and enjoy a snack or simply just read. I value my calm moments as my day-to-day can be chaotic!

    My best memory here is when I went to Cougar Cinema with friends and we watched Spider-Man: No Way Home at the USU Amphitheater. We had Starbucks, pizza, and cupcakes! It was a really good day.

    I love spending time in the Office of Global Education in the Extended Learning Building (ELB 588) and hiking some of the nature paths around our campus.

    I volunteer at Outdoor Adventures (part of Campus Recreation) and so I have been very fortunate to have been able to go on many trips that showcase California's beauty. One of my favorite trips was camping and hiking in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. There was such interesting flora and beautiful landscapes.

    It is easy to stay insulated and just go to class, but the best experiences happen when you put yourself out there and get involved on campus. CSUSM has so many opportunities and fun things to do.
