
Student Parking Information
Student parking is available in any general parking lot (B, C, F, J, K, L, N, O and Parking Structure 1) with a valid CSUSM Academic Year, semester, or daily parking permit. Parking Map
There is no student parking in the faculty/staff parking lots (Lots E and H) or in the faculty/staff reserved areas of parking lots F, N, or PS1.
Parking is enforced 24 hours a day 7 days a week. CSUSM paid parking session is required at all times when parked on campus.
Lot D is a reserved parking lot and has no student or visitor parking at any time. Signage at the entrance of each parking lot identifies the lot designation.
Semester parking permits may be purchased at Parking and Commuter Services (PSB 63) or on-line: Purchase Student Parking Permit On-line.
Daily permits are available for purchase in general parking lots (B, C, F, K, N, and each level of PS1). Please use the Yellow or Blue Permit Machines for these transactions.
Warning: Permits are for the exclusive use of the registrant. Permits may not be sold, exchanged, given away, or purchased from any person or agency other than California State University San Marcos Parking and Commuter Services.
Permits may not be reproduced or altered. Any vehicle displaying a lost/stolen, forged or altered permit is subject to a citation and the user could face potential disciplinary action. Permit remains the property of Parking and Commuter Services and will be revoked if it is observed being improperly used.
Parking and Commuter Services is not responsible for lost or stolen permits.
Credit/Debit Card Information:
Students wishing to pay parking fees using a credit or debit card must order on-line: Purchase Student Parking Permit On-line. The University accepts MasterCard and Visa when paying on-line.
Walk in sales will be accepted via cash or check only.

Purchase your parking time electronically through the PayByPhone app. Or access PayByPhone via the CSUSM app under "Parking/Transit" then "Purchase a Day Pass".
Elect to receive a text or email and extend your parking time if needed.
