Gambling, Lotteries And Raffles

Definition: Gambling, lotteries and raffles for money, checks, credit, or other representative value are illegal, unless otherwise designated by law, in the State of California. Therefore, these activities are not permitted on the campus of California State University San Marcos, at university functions, or by university organizations. This prohibition includes all betting pools and raffles, mechanical gaming devices such as slot machines, and card game activities as defined by the California Penal Code.
