Health Careers Resources

Are you a prospective student interested in learning about how pre-med/pre-health works at CSUSM? The first thing to know is that pre-med or pre-health, pre-dental, pre-physician's assistant, etc., are not majors. Pre-med/Pre-health students can choose from a range of different majors across campus.

This Pre-Med/Pre-Health Information website supports students as they explore graduate and professional programs in healthcare, plan out the prerequisite courses needed to apply to a specific health professions program, and will also help students think about how to get involved in extracurricular activities to be a well-rounded applicant in the future. It will also help students connect with campus offices/resources to: get involved in research and service opportunities on-campus and in the broader community; and to guide students as they prepare for professional exams and the application process.
