In July 2019, President Ellen Neufeldt arrived at CSUSM as the university’s fourth president and a resolve to engage diverse voices from across campus in conversation about the past, present and future of Cal State San Marcos.

To continue to keep the conversation going, President Neufeldt is committed to hosting monthly Listening and Learning sessions. Intentionally capped at 10 people per meeting to keep the conversations intimate and informal, attendees are welcome to share their ideas, questions, suggestions or concerns. In particular, President Neufeldt is interested in your answers to the following questions:

  • What do you value most about CSUSM?
  • What are CSUSM's strengths and how do we build on them?
  • What are our challenges?
  • What makes CSUSM distinctive?

Meet with President Neufeldt - Ongoing Small Meeting Sessions in 2023
President Neufeldt is inviting students, faculty, and staff to join her for informal meetings. Capacity will be capped at 10 people per meeting on a first-come, first-serve basis.  To accomodate all those who would like to participate, if you have recently attended a listening and learning session with President Neufeldt within the last six months, we kindly ask that you email pres@csusm.edu to be placed on a waiting list. You will be contacted if there are open spots.
