California State University San Marcos has launched a national search for a Chief Diversity Officer. The Chief Diversity Officer is a senior-level management position that reports directly to the president and will serve on University Cabinet and the President’s Administrative Team.
CSUSM’s Chief Diversity Officer Search Committee has been charged with bringing forward a diverse pool of promising candidates. Working with executive search consultant Isaacson-Miller, the committee will assess the candidates and select the semi-finalists. For each of the semi-finalists and finalists, the committee will provide feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate to inform the president’s hiring decision.
We welcome your feedback and encourage you to provide your comments so that we can have a more complete understanding of the shared vision of our new Chief Diversity Officer. This is also an opportunity for you to provide suggestions of prospective candidates. Please fill out the following survey by December 4.
