Student Field Placement
There has been a change to the process of initiating University-Community Partnership Agreements. Please see below to identify the appropriate office to facilitate your request to initiate an agreement.
Service Learning is a teaching method that promotes student learning through active participation in meaningful and planned community experiences that are substantively related to course content. Through reflective activities, students enhance their understanding of course content, general knowledge, sense of civic responsibility, self-awareness and commitment to the community. If you are interested in initiating a University-Community Partnership Agreement for Service Learning, please complete the request. If you have further questions, please contact Anna Fleming at 760-750-4003 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
An Internship formally integrates the student’s academic study with practical experience in a cooperating organization. It is designed to serve educational purposes by offering experience in a business, non-profit, government or other workplace setting. If you are interested in initiating a University-Community Partnership Agreement for an Internship, please complete the request. If you have further questions, please contact Jill Litschewski at (760)-750-7004 or email@example.com.
