Hello Adventurers! Come join us, Outdoor Adventures for a beautiful day at the beach of La Jolla. During this trip, we will be kayaking near the coastline of La Jolla and snorkel near the La Jolla Cove. While students are kayaking, they will learn the basics of paddling as they hear about the history of the La Jolla caves and the various natural habitats present in the La Jolla beach. For snorkeling, students will have up-close views of the aquatic life such as sea lions, varieties of fish, aquatic plants as well as the sea caves and dramatic cliff sides! Students will have the opportunity to be exposed more to the outdoor ethics, Leave No Trace principles, and environmental stewardship.
*** Swimming ability is advised, but not requires as Personal Flotation Devices will be distributed and worn at all times in the ocean***
