Renaming of Craven Hall Employee Resources
With the decision by the CSU Board of Trustees to rename Craven Hall to Administrative Building, we understand that you may have questions and need additional support during this time. Below, please find a number of resources and opportunities to come together in community for processing and/or learning.
- Learning Sessions
Monday, Jan. 30 and Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023
Noon to 1 p.m. | Cross-Cultural Center (University Student Union 3400)
Open to all CSUSM students and employees, learning sessions will be facilitated by a member(s) of the Task Force on the Naming of Craven Hall. These sessions will offer an overview of the history of late state Sen. William A. Craven, the work of the task force and next steps. Additional resources for support also will be shared.

To support all CSUSM students and employees, professionals from Student Health & Counseling Services and Student Affairs will facilitate small group settings for the processing and sharing of reactions and feelings related to the decision to rename Craven Hall.

Counseling support is available 24/7 for students from Student Health & Counseling Services by calling 760-750-4915.
For employees, support is available through University Ombuds (760-750-8366) or the Employee Assistance Program.
