Enrollment Management Services consists of the Admissions Office, the Registrar, Commencement, Financial Aid and Scholarships, and Recruitment & Outreach. EMS serves to aid students from the application process through the final steps of graduation. Associate Vice President Scott Hagg, along with his team of directors, strive to meet enrollment targets, admit high-quality students from diverse backgrounds, aid students in overcoming financial barriers, and provide the resources needed for timely graduation.
The Office of Admissions guides prospective students from their initial contact with the campus, through the application process, admission, up until the day they register for new student orientation.
The Commencement Office manages and coordinates the development, design, planning and organizing of enrollment and commencement events and their associated activities. These events include Commencement, GradFest, Discover CSUSM, and the CSU Counselor Conference. They work with various Campus Organizations/Departments, Distinguished Guests, and outside vendors.
The mission of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at California State University, San Marcos is to provide access to postsecondary education by eliminating or reducing financial barriers to students’ academic success.
Outreach Programs promotes higher education by providing academic services and diverse enrichment programs that ensure the success and support of K-12 students and schools, and families. Services range from campus visits, college presentations, program tutoring, advising, mentoring, college application assistance, summer programs, motivational activities, and cultural educational events.
The Office of the Registrar provides an important link between the academic policies of CSUSM, our academic departments, and students. They maintain the academic records of all registered students by verifying student status, confirming graduation and issuing diplomas, providing transcripts, and processing enrollment.
