The vaccination site is only available to those in the eligible phases/tiers listed on the County’s COVID-19 Vaccine Phases webpage. Anyone interested in the COVID vaccine should first contact their medical provider. Only if someone is not able to receive the vaccine from their medical provider should they make an appointment at the County site.
Yes, on Wednesday, Feb. 24, San Diego County announced that Tier 1B would open to employees in the childcare and education sectors beginning Saturday, Feb. 27. All employees, including student employees, of CSUSM and the CSUSM Corporation are now eligible to make an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine.
