Welcome to Supplemental Instruction!

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

For information and the latest resources for students, faculty and staff, visit the coronavirus web page.

Students can find a list of services available virtually on the student support services page.

SI Sessions are out-of-class study and review sessions for difficult courses. SI supplements, but does not replace out-of-class preparation for the course. All students in designated course sections wanting to improve understanding of course content and grades are urged to participate weekly. As a group, you will review notes, clarify text materials, discuss ideas, do worksheets, prepare for tests and take practice exams.
Come prepared - bring notes, text, and questions!

As the SI motto goes: "Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand."

"Always attend lecture and rewrite your notes the same day. Following this reread your notes every other day to reinforce what you have learned. In addition, make sure to do a lot of practice problems. This will be the driving force to this class. Being able to navigate problems that are worded differently or asking slightly different questions will enhance your learning on the topic. " - Sean Hernandez
