The Mission of the Child and Adolescent Development (CHAD) B.A. degree program is
to prepare students for employment in various fields and/or advanced study in developmental
science by educating them in the fundamental concepts, theories, and laboratory/field
techniques used in the empirical study of development from the prenatal period through
