Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) offers a full time (40 hours/week), 12-month internship in Health Service Psychology for graduate students working toward doctoral degrees in clinical and counseling psychology. The aim of Student Health and Counseling Services' internship is to assist in the development of clinical psychologists based on the scholar practitioner model.

These include practicum and professional experience providing short term and time limited therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, outreach experience, consultation experience, particularly with an interdisciplinary team, the demonstrated ability to be flexible in a demanding environment, and strong oral and written communication skills.

The applicant must have permission to work in the United States and have permission to work for the entire length of the 12-month, full time internship program.
