Admission Criteria

Applicants with various degrees are welcome to apply to the program!

Admission decisions will be based on: 

  • Undergraduate courses
  • GPA
  • GRE scores (recommended but not required)
  • Statement of purpose
  • Letters of Recommendations
  • TOEFL or IELTS or Duolingo scores - for international students

Undergraduate Courses

Admission requires an undergraduate degree including many of the courses that are required for the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Cal State San Marcos, or their equivalents.  Course descriptions can be found in the CSUSM Catalog under Computer Science.
