Alisha Wilkins

Dr. Alisha (Wilkins) Franklin is the owner and founder of Hera Hub Temecula - a  shared workspace and business accelerator for women-owned businesses. 

Her passion for supporting women in all aspects of their lives, business and beyond, is also evident in the civic work she chooses. She was appointed by former Governor Jerry Brown to the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (2014-2019); for example, and reappointed by Governor Gavin Newsom (2019-Present). As a State Commissioner, Dr. Franklin has continuously focused on advocating for women’s pay equity and engaging girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). In the fall of 2020, Dr. Franklin received a second appointment, this time by California State Treasurer Fiona Ma to her Housing, Economic Development, and Jobs Ad Hoc Committee. Her work on this committee consists of creating strategies, development programs, and incentives that build wealth so that all Californians, regardless of zip code, have access to the American dream. Dr. Franklin is a graduate of  California Emerge and Chamber of Commerce - Leadership Riverside Program, and a former Fair Housing Council of Riverside County Boardmember.
