Information Asset Management - Security

Information assets are classified according the the CSU-Wide data classification standards.  Departments on campus are surveyed each year in order to develop an inventory of information about the protected data stored on campus resources. 

Departments that store protected data are required to comply with data handling standards in order to ensure that information is protected from unauthorized access or modification.
