MBA Workshop: Mobile App Development

This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the mobile application development strategy and the impact of various mobile technologies on business processes. Topics covered include orchestrating a mobile application strategy, delineating the differences between mobile web and native mobile applications, defining the infrastructure necessary to support robust mobile applications, evaluating the prominent mobile application development platforms and frameworks, analyzing the challenges inherent in designing and developing effective mobile applications and assessing the development workflow of mobile apps. An opportunity to experiment with developing a mobile application with focuses on the user experience and interface design principles will be provided.
