New Student & Family Programs is excited to present the Back to School Series, starting in June 2022! The Back to School Series is a collection of informational workshops and events covering a variety of topics to help you get ready for the 2022-2023 academic year. Workshops will discuss useful topics for all students, whether you are coming to campus for the first time or a returning student. Topics will include university technology, student support resources, academic success strategies, and more! See the schedule below, and keep checking back for updates. Finally, the more sessions they attend they will earn more entries into a drawing for some great CSUSM prizes! This Fall semester, Student Health and Counseling Services is hosting weekly workshops that talk about relationships in their "Relationship Series" September 14th - October 12th, Wednesdays at 2:00 pm. College 101, July 18th 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm	Time management, syllabi, goal setting oh my! Learn all the essentials for getting started this next academic year from the Personalized Academic Success Services (P.A.S.S.) Team College 101 Recording
Navigating Cougar Courses, August 30th TBD	Every student will use cougar courses to submit papers, see messages from their professors, and even access grades! Get the run down on how to access and click around on Cougar Courses so you'll be ready for your time here at Cal State San Marcos.
Get involved!, September 22nd 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm	Make your time at Cal State San Marcos more meaningful by getting involved! Apply what you are learning in your courses and expand your skills through Leadership programs and Student Organizations. Hear from our Student Leadership and Involvement Center Staff about how to find a club for you or make one of your own.
Tutoring and resources, October 20th 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm	Did you know Cal State San Marcos offers free tutoring? Learn more about how you can meet with a tutor, or participate in supplemental instruction.
Spring 2023 course enrollment, November 11th TBD	Signing up for your spring 2023 courses are just around the corner - are you ready to register? This workshop will have information from Academic Advisors to give you the general rundown on how to register for classes and what are some things to consider when planning your next semester. Note, this is NOT a personalized academic advising session. Please schedule an advising appointment through the Cal State San Marcos Academic Advising Website.
Holistic Wellness, December 6th 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm	Going to college is often stressful, but there are ways to help! Join us and meet the staff from the Student Health and Counseling Services to learn ways to take care of your body, mind, and spirit as you make your way to graduation. Relationship Series, Wednesdays 2:00 pm Starting September 14th - October 12th	This Fall, the Student Health and Counseling Center team is hosting a semester full of events for all students to benefit from. These workshops are meant to provide community, education, and support on various topics. One of the series talks about realtionships and the challenges that can come with them.
