Sustainability

The proposed work will deliver a freely available and publicly hosted pipeline platform, with major releases anticipated in years 2 and 3. Sustainability, after the end of the work proposed here, can be addressed in two ways. First, the PPP can continue to be made available and maintained at low cost. User forums and GitHub hosting, as well as basic maintenance by the PIs and their students, can easily continue for an extended time at very little cost. Second, if the platform comes to be widely used, as is hoped and expected, the project can be sustained by seeking additional grants to support things that are higher cost, such as continued hosting on a Temple University server or on the cloud, and to support continued development.
