    Mission Statement

    COMPACT is a unique and innovative organization designed to create and implement high quality programs and services for individuals to reach their fullest potential. COMPACT provides many opportunities for getting involved in the community, including internships.There is a strong need for volunteers with our mentoring program and compliance monitors, but please visit our website for full information on programs and services provided in the community should any speak to your interests.

  • Getting Education Done

    How it pertains to Project Rebound

    We encourage individuals to reach out to Getting Education Done to utilize the many services they have to offer. This includes receiving help in creating a personalized plan that works best for you.

    Additional Information

    Getting Education Done is a non-profit organization based in San Diego that assists individuals in completing their high school education and beyond. Services provided are based on the individual's needs at no cost and include assistance in applying for community college, scholarships, and apprenticeships. In addition to this, hardship grants are offered to assist students in completing their education.

  • Interfaith Community Services

    Mission Statement

    Interfaith Communities Services (ICS) provides employment assistance to individuals/families who reside in the city of Escondido and have been impacted by incarceration. Through ongoing case management and in partnership with Neighborhood Healthcare, ICS provides wrap-around services to ensure the persons overall well-being and needs are being met.

    Project Rebound students, as well as community members alike, each have a positive purpose in life and are encouraged to utilize the services offered by McAlister Institute.

    Additional Information

    McAlister Institute offers 24 programs that represent a complete continuum of care for the prevention and treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. From adults of all ages to pregnant women and teens, to ex-offenders, homeless individuals, monolingual Spanish speakers, and co-occurring individuals, each program is built on more than 40 years of experience in alcohol and other drug services and has been tailored to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by substance abuse.

    How it pertains to Project Rebound

    Project Rebound is working closely with Mission Federal to facilitate financial literacy workshops for our students and the community in the near future.

    Additional Information

    Mission Fed is a not-for profit credit union providing banking services to anyone in San Diego. Currently, there are 32 Branch locations across San Diego county including: San Marcos (in the Grand Plaza)

    • “Easy Checking” has no monthly service fee and requires no minimum balance for it to be free.
    • Our Savings program has no monthly service fee and requires no minimum balance for it to be free.
    • Mission Federal has a special “Mission Money” program for Project Rebound participants and their families with $100 Thank you from us! We believe in second chances!

  • North County Educational Opportunity Center (NCEOC) - Palomar College

    How this pertains to Project Rebound

    Project Rebound is committed to helping formerly incarcerated and system impacted individuals become students. Whether that is helping them enroll at CSU San Marcos for those who meet the criteria, or helping them enroll at one of the local community colleges. We encourage folks who are interested in applying at a community college to seek assistance from NCEOC.

    Additional Info

    NCEOC focuses on assisting potential new students through the process of applying for admissions, financial aid, and getting them enrolled in the institution of their choice.
