Medical Services
Most medical services offered at Student Health & Counseling Services are covered by your pre-paid student health fee of $75 per semester and require no co-payments once you come in. Office visits are FREE to currently enrolled CSUSM students.

- Minor Dermatologic Evaluation and Treatment
- Headache
- Flu
- Upper Respiratory Infections
- Immunizations
- Sexual and Reproductive Health
- GYN Orientations
- Sprains and Strains
- Birth Control
- Pregnancy Testing and Options Counseling
- Asthma
- Physical exams
- Ear Lavage
- Blood Pressure Screening
- Suture of Minor Lacerations
- And much more!
Appointments can also be scheduled with a health educator to discuss birth control options, pregnancy options counseling, nutrition counseling, and other concerns.
We strongly recommend that you call first to schedule an appointment, just as you would with your own healthcare provider. This allows us to to be more informed about your concerns, and can help ensure that you see the appropriate professional. Students who are seen for a sensitive exam, will have a clinical chaperone present.
If a more urgent situation arises (sudden onset of a medical problem, injury, etc.), and we are unavailable, please go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care.
