The 14th Cycling for Sight (CFS) will celebrate for the 5th straight year, in partnership with CSUSM as host site for the annual bike tour benefiting the San Diego Center for the Blind (SDCB) and the Blind Stokers Club (BSC), June 30 and July 1, 2018.

CFS participants enjoy overnight facilities at UVA apartments, and meals at the University Student Union, intertwined with scenic routes throughout north county on both days of the event. The San Diego Center for the Blind, with field office in Vista, helps adults with blindness or vision impairment to reach their highest level of independence.

The Blind Stokers Club enables the sport of cycling for those who cannot see well enough to pilot a bike, through one-on-one partnering on tandem bikes for two.CFS is open to all cyclists, with a variety of participation options; the primary event website is cyclingforsight.org

Educational Camps

The summer Colloquium event is an international gathering for a week of intense, topic-driven ETM study. It includes daily first-hand observations of children in ETM experiences. Returning students bring their specific questions about ETM philosophy, materials, and practice to gain further insight to launch their continued winter study. Students new to ETM gain a first, intensive over-view, which they can then expand upon with further in-depth winter study.

Come on your own or bring your children to the Children's Fine Arts Day Camp (available ages 3 to 15 years). Children in the day camp will participate in the ETM observation classes each day while you study. Children under age 3 are welcome (with a caregiver).
