Chapter Coaching
The Student Leadership & Involvement Center is determined to ensure that fraternity and sorority chapter leaders and members feel valued and supported through interactions with our entire team. All chapters and councils have direct contact with the Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life; additionally, they will also have a chapter coach to help maintain accountability with organizational requirements as well as general chapter operations, challenges, and successes throughout the semester. Chapter leadership are encouraged to seek out additional meetings to address specific problems or advice on a range of topics, including, but not limited to:

Each SLIC staff member is assigned certain chapters and serves as those chapters’ main resources regarding FSL policies, the Relationship Statement, and can assist the chapter in a variety of ways depending on their needs.
Role of Chapter Coaches

- Support and advise assigned chapters and chapter operations
- Maintain relationship and contact with chapter president and other chapter officers
- Meet with chapter president at least twice a semester
- Collaborate with Coordinator of FSL, Inter/National Headquarters, Chapter Advisors, and other University Departments to best support chapters
- Provide knowledge, assistance, and resources available on/off campus
